🌿 Medway Feast – A Free Community Celebration of Local Food📅 Saturday, 26th July | 🕡 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM | 📍 Sun Pier House, Chatham
This is part of Friends of the River Medway's pilgrimage - From Source to Sea (19th to 27th July) - and the River Medway Celebration(26th July), a full day of activities designed to honour the River.
Come together for an evening of flavour, community, and celebration at Medway Feast, a special free event (although donations very much welcome!) honouring the rich variety of food grown in and around the Medway basin.
This gathering will feature a lovingly prepared meal crafted by the talented Luke Manders from Campesina Catering, who will be transforming fresh, seasonal ingredients donated by generous local farmers and growers into a vibrant communal feast. Expect a delicious, nourishing spread that reflects the bounty and diversity of our local land.
Whether you’re a passionate foodie, a supporter of sustainable living, or simply curious about what grows in your backyard, this is an event not to be missed. It’s a chance to share a meal, meet your neighbours, and learn more about the food systems that sustain our region.
Spaces are limited, so arrive early to ensure you don’t miss out on a seat at the table. Let’s celebrate food, community, and the land and water that connects us.
