🌿 A Gift for the River – A Water Ceremony to Honour the Medway 📅 Saturday, 26th July | 🕡 1 PM – 3 PM | 📍Rochester Castle Gardens

This is part of Friends of the River Medway's pilgrimage - From Source to Sea (19th to 27th July) - and the River Medway Celebration(26th July), a full day of activities designed to honour the River.

You are warmly invited to take part in a heartfelt offering to the River Medway - a ceremonial gift created with intention, gratitude, and natural materials.

Drawing inspiration from the Ancient Wealdland Way and the sacred Andean Despacho traditions, we will co-create a beautiful and symbolic offering that honours the river’s spirit and the life it sustains.

This gathering is part of a 9-day pilgrimage following the River Medway from its source to the sea. As we come together on Day 8 of this journey, we will pause to reflect, give thanks, and offer our blessings to the river that nourishes land, life, and community.

Join us in this moment of connection - to nature, to tradition, and to one another - as we celebrate the River Medway with reverence, creativity, and care.
