They have become carriers of toxic cocktails of chemicals, the victim of pesticides, fertilisers and sewage. It is time to make a difference.
Thanks to the National Lottery Fund, it looks like 2022 could be the year that the River Medway receives the healing that she so deserves. They have provided us with a grant to raise more awareness, run more events and engage the community with the wonderful River that gives us - and so many other plants, animals and organisms - life! We would live to give them a massive thank you for helping us work towards restoring the River back to good health and vitality, but also to facilitate other people to become active friends and guardians to the River.
