Overview

A delicious feast celebrating the River Medway, and the produce that grows in the Medway basin.

A Feast for the Medway Basin

Friday 26 June | 7:00pm – 10:00pm

Jjoin us beside the Shalesbrook, one of the many tributaries that feed the River Medway, for a unique evening celebrating the landscapes, people and produce that make the Medway Basin so special.

We will gather around the fire for a beautiful midsummer feast prepared by local chefs, including Alex from Sussex Kitchen, showcasing exceptional organic ingredients sourced from across the Medway catchment. Every dish tells a story of the land, the farmers, growers, fishers and craftspeople whose hands help shape this remarkable landscape.

Our menu will be cooked over wood and charcoal, featuring high-quality seasonal produce, locally sourced ingredients, and carefully selected drinks from producers across the region. Long tables, candlelight, live fire cooking and music will create an unforgettable evening beneath the summer sky.

This is an opportunity to connect with the river that sustains our communities, the tributaries that weave through our countryside, and the people working to protect them for future generations.
